I'm no Martha Stewart, but these Valentine treats that Ella and I made this afternoon turned out great anyway! I got the idea from a magazine in a waiting room some time back... unfortunately I didn't make a note of where I saw it, so we had to wing it. We started by getting Maggie, Kate, and Sarah to take a nap. Then Ella counted out the number of caramels, Nilla wafers, and sticks that we needed~ sneaking in math where I can. She opened the caramels and I melted them. We used them to hold the sticks between two of the cookies. Next I dipped them in some melted white chocolate, and Ella was in charge of the sprinkles. Tomorrow and the next day when I complain here about Ella's terrible red dye induced behavior, just come on back and remind me exactly who's fault it is, okay??

Those look quite tasty and way to sneak in the math.

I love the pictures of the girls. I am glad you guys had some decent weather so you could get out and play.
Those are beautiful! I was just watching Martha make lady bug cookies and thinking how fun it will be to decorate cookies with Emma.
