This Many More Days....

... until Daddy comes home from Iraq for a short visit!

While Sarah, Maggie, and Kate were taking an actual nap *gasp* this afternoon, Ella worked hard cutting, stapling, and even making "patteruns" part of the time. The finished product was this great paper chain with a link for every day until Scott is home for his R&R.

She had such a great time making the chain that she's not too keen on tearing off a link each day.... we'll see how that goes tomorrow.

Wow! What a great idea. Hopefully she will be willing to tear a link off each so she can see the time getting shorter. She does look very proud of it.

Hey MB,

Was that your own idea?? It's a really neat way to count down ANYTHING!!

I'd love to share it sometime on Sonbeams if you wouldn't mind - I could send credit back to you.

Oh that is exciting - I hope you all have a wonderful visit.

We counted down like that to the babies birth - it's amazing that you do actually get through all those days! I'm praying they will be smooth and restful :)

My Princess loves to make "patteruns" too and that is exactly how she says it.

So glad your hubby gets to come home for a visit. I am so thankful for his and you and your girls sacrifice for my freedom!
