Time Warp

I have been in shock lately over the fact that Ella will be celebrating her 3rd birthday in less than a week! It seems like we've only been living back here for a few months, and yet we actually moved in almost 2 years ago. We celebrated Ella's first birthday while still living in Birmingham and within the week packed up all our belongings and moved back home.

I guess I've been in some sort of time warp since the moment my midwife friend Suzanne looked over at me and said, "MaryBeth, you have 3 babies in your belly" all those months ago at the doctor's office during my ultrasound.... we were just checking to see how far along I was with the next baby when BAM!

One of the most bizarre things to me is that the babies are now older than Ella was when we brought them home from the hospital. I just can't believe that now matter how hard I try to wrap my mind around it. I can't imagine how any one of the three of them would deal with our bringing any babies into this house, much less three babies...

It feels like just yesterday that Ella was having her very cautious, no children allowed due to RSV season, 2nd birthday party.

And now she is about to turn into a 3 year old little lady!! Yikes, where has the time gone?!?

We have certainly had a great year. She has blossomed into a fine little preschooler and continues to be the light of our lives.

And these three little ladies have certainly made their way into the depths of our hearts as well. This was taken at Ella's birthday party last year.... perhaps I'll be able to get them all three to lie down beside each other on the floor so I can get another picture for this year, ya think?!? HA, HA, HA (laughing hysterically)

I can't give you any advice as to where time goes - it just goes too fast! I try to enjoy every second because I know it is going to be gone too soon!

It does go by way too fast, and they are all looking so grown up now!
