Lost It's Energy

Ella just came running to me with a pen she was using to write a very special letter to our Compassion sponsored child Sabina. She said, "Help mom, this pen just lost it's energy!!" I told her maybe she should throw it in the trash can if it was out of ink. She decided to give it one more try. After scribbling in circles for a few more seconds, the pen began writing again. Her response, "Whew, I managed to bring the energy back."

Now if her continued efforts only had the same effect on MY energy.....

That is too cute! It is such a good thing that you are keeping track of all the amusing things that Ella says. Can't wait to see what the other three start coming up with before long.

Hilarious!!! I know it is alot of work raising 4 amazing girls but I'm sure it is those unexpected moments that make it SO worth it ALL.

Cute! Everett said that my Mother's Day cut tulips were "tired" when they started drooping. I love their creative descriptions!

He also said "broken car" when he saw a convertible for the first time.

I wish our weather was as nice as yours! We've had so much rain and cold that your photos are making me jealous!
