Big Talk

This afternoon Ella looked me square in the eyes, stomped her one little foot down on the ground, and said, "Mom, would you please get me some chok mook right this instrument!?!"

I don't aspire to have a bossy three year old, but it was all I could do to not laugh right in her face, so I figured punishment for bossiness would have to wait for another day and the chocolate milk ..... well, it took a little more than a few minutes to prepare.

I just died laughing. The being bossy thing has to be the age. I've noticed Ashlyn starting to test her limits with me also lately. Today she said, "stop talking to me, I'm trying to wash my hands". I said "you don't talk like that to mommy....or daddy", she said "can I talk like that to somebody else?" It is so hard to be serious and tell them it is wrong. They WILL be 12 before we know it.

HA HA HA HA HA! I just can't stop laughing! That is so funny! How can you ever punish her? She is so cute and doesn't even mean to be. I love her!

I just thought that I would let you know that I have been tuning into your blog every once in a while and my parents and I love the stories! We always talk about the girls in the car after church, they are so full of life. I am amazed at how together you always are and how well-behaved the girls are, you do such a wonderful job! I just thought I would let you know that we were reading so that you would know that it wasn't just an unknown stranger!
