More Teeth Troubles

Sweet Kate

Sisterly Love

I've not been the best blogger this week. "So sahwee", as Ella would say.

Wednesday night I went out to dinner with two other triplet moms, and when I got home at 11pm Scott was still up with Sarah, whom I'd put to bed at approximately 6:30pm before I left. Because he had to be up very early for work on Thursday, I immediately took over... wish I'd at least put my pj's on and brushed my teeth first, because for the next three hours I was rocking, swaying, holding, and otherwise consoling her. I changed her slightly wet diaper and gave her some Motrin early on, but she literally cried off and on until around 1:45am. She only stopped and fell asleep in my arms then because I caved in and put a Dora dvd in to play. Oh. My. Goodness... was I ever tired when she awoke around 5:20am... just 20 minutes after Scott left for work. By the time I got her back to sleep in the bed with me, both Maggie and Kate awoke at 5:50. I struggled my way through the day yesterday and went to bed extremely early last night. Today in Sarah's mouth I felt the beginnings of her one year molars. So the mystery of night before last has been solved. I suppose I only have myself to blame because I previously stated on 'this here' blog that Sarah does not have trouble with teething... that's what I get for making a statement like that!

In other news, the little gals have been following Ella's lead and since the first of the year insisting upon feeding themselves with forks and spoons. I don't know how old Ella was when she got good at this particular skill, but good or not, these three are insistent that no one help them.... very independent, we like that about our girls!

I did get quite a break yesterday afternoon when Sherry called at lunch and asked if Ella could go shopping with her, Bethann, Kim, and Emma Grace. I can only imagine how much fun Ella is going to have in the future with all her shopping buddies... good thing too, because Mommy doesn't have one shopping bone in her body! Seriously, my mom says that shopping with me is about as much fun as shopping with a man! Ella came home filled with sugar and incredibly excited about her finds... new tights, some leggings, and some tank tops for summer. She was especially excited to have been out to the mall with baby Emma Grace.
I'm off to bed early again tonight so that I can get caught up on my missed sleep.

Too Cute! I love the sisterly love pic. Got a question for you...I applied to join the Yahoo group for our age group and I still haven't heard anything. Should I email the mods and ask????
