AnnaRuby Falls Hiking Trip

We had a full weekend with out of town guests and all sorts of things going on. Sorry for the delay on the pictures I promised Friday. We had a very wonderful Friday afternoon trip to AnnaRuby Falls. We took the Runabout for the little gals and big girl Ella walked the whole way... except for the few times it was too steep and Daddy carried her. The falls were as beautiful as ever. I still remember hiking up there when I was little. Mimi was so excited to hear that we had all been because she's happy that she'll soon have four eager little hiking buddies.... oh, the fun we're going to have!!
Ella posed for her Dad on some small rocks... her idea. Once the camera was pointed her way she grinned and said, "cheese whiz". She's a little nut!!
Here's one of our little picnic at the end of the hike... well, actually it is the half-way point. This cute little arrangement lasted about 5 seconds. I have no idea how Scott managed to get the camera out and shoot it before it was over and Maggie was trying to pet the dogs that came up after us, Sarah was trying to throw her cup through the railing, and Kate was following Ella around everywhere she went.

You really can't tell from the picture how steep it was, but I was pushing the stroller up until this point... it finally got way too steep for me. I was practically laying down, putting my whole body into pushing that thing! Scott took over and made it look easy so I had to take a quick picture.

It looks like fun, except for the steep hill! I am glad the run-about is so useful.

Hi MB! Looks like you guys had a great time! I was super impressed with the seating arrangement for lunch and was wondering how you accomplished such a feat. I was even thinking that I wished mine did that and we could go some more places. Then, I kept reading and saw that it didn't last very long. Maybe you should have omitted that part and just allowed all of us to marvel at your children. :)

Thanks for your Christmas card. Your girls are just adorable.
