Almost Wordless Wednesday Hiking the Falls

My friend Joan came for a visit this weekend, and in addition to her company and her wonderful homemade waffles, the girls and I also enjoyed a great hike on Saturday with her. Here it is in pictures. I think she reads my blog and previously noted the lack of mom photos, so I'll warn you that I'm in nearly all of them.... I did take a couple of Joan with the girls too, and I spared you the ones Ella took straight up mine and Joan's nostrils.

I'm pretty sure that the last time we took this hike we used our Triple Runabout stroller and still ended up carrying children 70% of the time. That was not the case on this trip! The girls all did great walking on their own. I was one proud mom... and we only had to make 3 stops at the public restrooms along the way!

That looks like so much fun! I agree, there aren't many photos of you with your girls since you are designated photographer in your family (at least for a few more weeks). I would have enjoyed seeing the nostril pictures though. I'll just get Ella to show me those herself!

What a beautiful hiking place. We love to take the kids hiking. All that fresh air and exercise wears them out :)
