Look Out Summer....

.... 'cause here we come!! We spent the afternoon with the girls over at Mimi and Pop's house.

We shook the dust off the old hammock.

We waited at water's edge for the pool to be ready. The cover was only removed yesterday, but it is already looking great! I guess ready is a relative term- I like the water to be around 78 degrees, but it was only around 68 today. I'm sure that somewhere between the two will be quite good enough for the girls. They were really itching to get in past their little feet even today.... fortunately I had the "still needs chemical adjustment" argument on my side.

We helped Mimi move some drinks from the storage room in the cabana to the refrigerator... one or two at a time times four.

Then we played and snacked in the shade on a blanket. It was a glorious day!

I am so looking forward to the days of summer. I love the temperature outside right now, but seasonal allergies are particularly hard on Ella and Sarah this year. I'm ready for it to be hot so that we don't have these stuffy heads and watery eyes to worry with. Look out summer, here we come!!

Looks like everyone had a great day. Oh, I do miss my pool. I can't wait to hear all about the first time the girls get in.

They're in different outfits!! I'm sure that's happened before but this is the first time I've noticed it in the pictures. Still cute as ever though!!

So cute. Don't you love how they are starting to help? Most of the time I love their help and get a kick out of watching them. They feel so important.
That pool looks awfully inviting!

I especially love the photo of your hubby in the hammock and you and the girls by the pool. That is the essence of summer.

I am still trying to learn how to tell the girls apart. Can you give me a few pointers? They look so much alike.

How are you feeling about all of them swimming? I am nervous about being at my parent's house for weeks because the pool is right outside the family room door. Won't be as relaxing of a time as I'd like :)
