3 Year Check-up

Ella went for her 3 year check-up a little over a month late... we were trying to avoid the flu at the doctor's office. She is growing perfectly, on the low end of the weight and the high end of the height scales for her age. She has had some seasonal allergies, so I asked the pediatrician about that, but otherwise has been perfectly healthy as far as we knew. However, the doc discovered that she has double ear infections. This is the first time Ella has been on antibiotics, so I'm hoping she won't be allergic like Kate is.

Because all the little gals ended up with the same season allergy type symptoms that Ella had while we were down south, I asked the doc about them as well. We ended up taking them in the day after Ella's check-up just to have their ears looked at, and Maggie also has an ear infection. At least that explains some of the fussiness of late.... well, that and the 2 to 3 new teeth that Maggie, Kate, and Sarah are each getting in right now! Yikes!!

Now I have to go get ready because it is Friday night and Scott and I are going out on a date. **gasp** I can't even remember the last time that a weekend night meant anything other than any other day/night, but Kay-Kay graciously offered to come and sit for the girls tonight so we could escape. They are all in bed, and Kay will be here any minute. Woo-hoo!!
